Q. What is the tuition at Seton Catholic Prep?
A.  Seton Catholic Preparatory is tuition based school. Q. Is there financial assistance?
A. Need-based financial assistance is offered through Catholic Education Arizona (CEA). Once a student is offered admission to Seton Catholic Prep, they may request financial assistance by completing the FAIR application. On average, more than a half-million dollars are awarded to Seton Catholic Prep students per school year. Click here for information on scholarships and financial assistance.

Q. How old is Seton Catholic Prep?
A. Seton Catholic Preparatory was founded in Chandler, Arizona in 1954 by Fr. Patterson of St. Mary’s Parish and the Sisters of Charity. Seton will mark its 70th anniversary in 2024. We remain the only Catholic high school serving the Southeast Valley.

Q. What is Open House and when is it held?
A. Each year, Seton’s Open House provides students and their parents an opportunity to explore Seton Catholic Prep. Prospective families are invited to get to know our community, meet teachers and students, tour the campus, observe academic demonstrations and visit multiple displays—all reflecting the spirit of Seton Catholic Prep. Q. Does Seton Catholic Prep provide bus transportation?
A. Seton does provide bus transportation from the Casa Grande area and St. Peter Indian Mission School.  Other bus transportation is not provided by Seton Catholic Preparatory. 

Q. Do students wear uniforms?
A. Seton Catholic Prep has an established uniform policy to maintain a proper academic environment and to support the dignity of each student.

Q. What about your lunch program?
A. Seton offers a hot lunch program for students, staff and teachers through our online platform called MealManage. All students are loaded into the platform so there is no need to set up an account. Parents will need to activate their account if they would like to use the hot lunch program. Click here for more information on our Lunch Program. Q. How are textbooks purchased?

A. Find required Seton textbooks in the EdTech online bookstore. When the bookstore opens, students can create an account on https://set.shelfit.com/ to purchase required textbooks and/or access digital textbooks. Seton’s bookstore opens in late May for summer school courses and July for fall courses. Please refer to our Textbook Information webpages for more information as well as other options to purchase/sell used textbooks from Seton families or other online vendors.

 

Q. How many clubs/organizations and sports does Seton Catholic Prep offer?
A. There are over 50 extracurricular clubs/organizations and 23 Athletic Teams.

Q. Does Seton have organizations for parents?
A. Parent or guardian participation and involvement is one of the key elements in the success of Catholic schools.  The Seton Parents Association (SPA), Sentinel Booster Club, Seton Fine Arts Association (SFAA), and Advisory Boards offer several ways to be involved. 

Q. How many alumni does Seton Catholic have?
A. Seton Catholic Prep has a vibrant alumni community around the world. Our quarterly magazine, the Sentinel Shield is mailed to over 3,000 Seton Alumni Association members. Reunions and Seton Alumni Association events are held regularly.

Q. Do Seton students perform community service?
A. Community service is an essential component of an education in the charisms of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton who believed that an individual can strengthen their community through direct service to others. Seton Catholic Prep students participate in school-wide projects (such as holding food drives to benefit the St. Mary’s Food Bank), school-day service days (students serve at St. Vincent de Paul, Midwest Food Bank, and Oakwood Creative Care), and service at an outside organization of their choice.
