Retreats/Kairos
But Jesus would withdraw to deserted places to pray.
—Luke 5:16
Love one another... as I have loved you
—John 13:35b
Following the model of Jesus we take time out of the busyness of the school year to withdraw and pray through our retreat programs. We offer multiple retreats throughout the year including a faculty/staff retreat, a mandatory all-school retreat, voluntary mens/womens retreats, and Kairos retreats.
All-School Retreat: Sentinel Summit
An All-School Retreat called the Sentinel Summit is held during Catholic Schools Week. This retreat has the year’s assigned SCP Charism from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's life (one of Courage, Determination, Faith, or Love) as a theme, offering multiple speakers and opportunities for students to grow closer to God. If a student misses this retreat, they will be given a make-up assignment.

Charism: Faith
New Student Retreat
The New Student Retreat provides an opportunity for Freshmen and Transfer students to be introduced to the charisms of Seton, to begin to build friendships with one another, and to be introduced to the person of Jesus Christ.
The retreat will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
Please contact David Rees to inquire about registration.
Beautifully Rooted Retreat for Women
Seton offers a student-led women's retreat titled "Beautifully Rooted”. This retreat will be an evening of fun and community for our students while focusing on what it means to be a beautiful daughter of God.
The retreat will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025.
Please contact Regan Larish-Hunter to inquire about registration.
Forge Retreat for Men
Seton offers a retreat titled “Forge” for our male students, grades 9-12. This retreat will be a day of fun and community for our students while focusing on what it means to be a son of God.
Kairos Retreat
The Kairos Retreat is the pinnacle retreat experience for our students. Evangelistic in nature, the Kairos Retreat aims at awakening Christ within each student’s life. Held over four days, the Kairos Retreat is based on the Cursillo model, incorporating thematic talks, small group discussions, private reflections, prayers, meditations, Reconciliation, Adoration, and Mass. Kairos is student-led by a team of seniors who have previously attended Kairos and gone through formation. Faculty, as well as Seton alumni, also help to lead these retreats.
