Registration:
Students wishing to enroll in summer school may do so when they meet with their Counselors to choose their courses for their next school year. Incoming freshmen and new students will enroll for summer school on the new student registration day. If families decide to add summer school after they have registered, we recommend they email their counselor or admissions as soon as possible, many courses fill up quickly. Families will receive a confirmation email at the end of April. If a class is full or has to be canceled, you will be notified. Another confirmation will be sent in May. It is recommended that summer school registrations be submitted before Spring Break to avoid a class cancellation due to insufficient enrollment. After Spring Break, all registrations are on a space-available basis.

FAQ
ATTENDANCE:
Regular attendance is vital. Students may not have more than 2 absences or 4 tardies, or they will be withdrawn from the summer school course. A tardy beyond 30 minutes will be counted as an absence. Please confer with the teacher to make up all missed assignments after a tardy or an absence. If a student will be absent, a parent/guardian must report the absence through the PowerSchool Portal. Attendance is mandatory on the last day of each semester, as exams/projects are scheduled for that day. Exams/projects will not be given early.
  • Yearlong courses will have their exams/projects on Friday, June 14 and Friday, June 28.
  • Semester courses will have their exams/projects on Friday, June 28.

TEXTBOOKS: Our EdTech Bookstore will open in May for summer school textbooks. Students are expected to have the required textbooks on the first day of summer school. Instructions to access the booklist are found on our "Buying Textbooks Guide." Please contact [email protected] or Edtech at [email protected] with any questions.

SUMMER SCHOOL TUITION POLICY:  Summer School may be required (Credit Recovery Course) but also may be selected by a family to ease the next year's schedule (Enrichment Course) for a student. No matter the path a family takes to arrive to the decision for summer school, it is important to recognize that Seton plans with our teachers to cover the costs to offer this wonderful opportunity in advance. SUMMER SCHOOL FEES AND BOOKS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FAMILY. More information can be found HERE
