New Family Technology Outline

Technology Check List

  • We have a 1:1 policy for a school-issued device. At the beginning of the school year, all new incoming students will receive a Chromebook device, a protective case, and a charger to use for the duration of their studies at the school. 
  • You will receive an email from Seton IT with a username, email, and password to begin the New Family Technology Sign In Checklist.
  • IT will host a Tech Night. This is where the parent and student will learn how to access all the technology features Seton offers. More information coming soon. For questions, contact [email protected]
Several weeks after registering you will receive a welcome letter from Seton Catholic IT, which will contain your school username and password, and instructions on how to setup school accounts:
 
Seton Catholic Email - Each student gets an email assigned to them which they use to login to most things Seton related.
 
PowerSchool - Students and Parents will use PowerSchool to view schedules and term grades.
 
Canvas - This is the online learning system students will use to turn in home work. Parents can use observer accounts to keep track of student progress.
