International Students

At this time, we are no longer admitting international students for the 2024-25 school year. We welcome the student to apply for the 2025-26 school year.

The application for the 2025-26 school year will open November 1, 2024 (application fee is $75). 

After the online application is submitted, below are the Next Steps:

  • Three teacher recommendations: The link for the recommendation forms are in the 'Next Steps' of the process (Please Note: All teacher recommendations must be submitted in English through the PowerSchool parent portal.)
    • Principal/Counselor
    • English Teacher
    • Math Teacher
  • TOEFL or IELTS test scores:
    • TOEFL – Minimum score of 80 iBT TOEFL with no section lower than 17; minimum score of 550 on the paper-based exam.
    • IELTS – Minimum overall score of 6.0 on the IELTS Academic.
    • Email most recent test scores to [email protected]. See more information about testing below. 
  • TranscriptsRequest the last 2 years of report cards.
  • Google Meet or Zoom interview - Interviews are conducted through Zoom or Google Meet. An Admissions representative will contact you to schedule the interview.

Seton Catholic Preparatory is a day school, therefore host families for international students are required. All arrangements for the host family are to be made by the prospective student’s family or a placement agency. Dorms or housing are not provided for students on campus.

  • Once the student receives the admission decision and accepts the offer of admission, the I-20 will be issued (takes approximately 4 weeks).
  • Student Visa: Family is responsible to check with the Consulate regarding this.

fee

There is no discount or scholarship for international students. Tuition for 2024-25 school year is $19,150 with a $1,000 registration fee (non-refundable). The tuition does not include uniforms, books, and other incidental fees. We do not supply healthcare for international students.

  • Candidates applying to Seton must submit scores from The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
    • The Educational Testing Service (ETS) is the organization that administers the TOEFL test.
    • For more information and questions, please contact the TOEFL organization directly.
  • If the student is comfortable with the English language, the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) is available.
