International Students

How to Apply

Seton Catholic Preparatory is proud of our international students who comprise approximately 2% of the student body. We hope that you find the information below useful. Click here to start the application process.

Host Families

Seton Catholic Preparatory is a day school, therefore host families for international students are required. All arrangements for the host family are to be made by the prospective student’s family or a placement agency. Dorms or housing are not provided for students on campus.

Application Requirements/Deadlines

The application for the 2023-24 school year will open on November 1, 2022. The application includes: Biographical/Student section, 3 recommendations, TOEFL results, transcripts, essay and a Google Meet interview. The deadline to submit an application online is January 31, 2023.

  • All international students MUST submit a Seton Catholic Prep application for admission. Alternate applications such as the common application and/or agency application will NOT be accepted.
  • The most recent TOEFL scores MUST be submitted no later than January 31, 2023 to [email protected]
  • International families and/or placement agencies are solely responsible for identifying prospective host families for the student. The host family must be identified and confirmed prior to the start of school.
  • Student Visa: Please check with the Consulate for your country regarding obtaining this.

The administration at Seton Catholic Preparatory believes that students are more than just test scores. It is important that we get to know the student before we offer them admissions. Please note that all students applying to Seton will be interviewed.  (At least one parent needs to be present)

Google Meet interview MUST be completed by February 28, 2023. Please email [email protected] to schedule the interview.
