As an athlete, there are also requirements for you to uphold as well. Since these demands can be confusing, it is important to talk to your college counselor about your interest so they can help plan your curriculum with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in mind. Athletes should take their SAT or ACT no later than the spring of their junior year to prepare for retakes if need be. There is also an NCAA Eligibility Center Student Release Form that needs to be completed by the athlete and submitted after their junior year.
