BYOD Policy

Seton Catholic Prep utilizes a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy. BYOD allows students to bring their own electronic device to school for educational purposes. Students will use their devices to facilitate their ability to communicate, collaborate, research, create and problem solve in exciting ways. Approved devices are Chromebook laptops and Chromebook netbooks with screen sizes greater than 9 inches measured diagonally with wireless capabilities. All students are required to have a device by the beginning of the school year.

Student devices will connect to the appropriate Seton wireless network. Seton’s network is filtered to protect students. The use of cellular connections is prohibited. We will not monitor or filter the Internet sites they visit from home. We are also not able to upgrade, maintain or repair a student-owned device; however, if issues occur we can provide a loaner device for the day and/or "guidance" to help direct you to a proper repair technician.  All students are required to have a device on the first day of classes (or school)
