Student Handbook

Attached is a copy of the Seton Parent/Student Handbook.  The handbook can also be found on our website under Campus Life/Dean's Office.

Student Drop Off and Pick Up Maps

Click here for a Student Drop Off and Pick Up Map  -  Drop Off Reminders - Parents, If you need to speak to your student or they need extra time to get out of the vehicle, you may use the parent pick up spots in the south parking lot (see map) to drop off your student.  Do not use the front parking lot for student drop off unless you need to visit the SCRIP Store or the Front Office. Lastly, do not use the parking spaces between the gym and the main campus to park and let your student out.  Those spaces are assigned to our seniors students and will cause a delay with the traffic flow.  Pick Up Reminders - The only place students should be picked up is in the south parking lot in the designated parent pick up spots.  Students can walk to meet their parents at their vehicle.  Please do not use the front of the school or the senior parking lot to drop off or pick up your students.

Student Uniforms

Students, remember to try on your uniforms to make sure they still fit!  Don't assume you have not grown over the summer. Go to page 36 of the student handbook and make sure you are in compliance with the uniform policy when you return to campus.

BOYS - It is probably time for quite a few of you to visit a barber shop or hair salon.  Please make sure your hair is not touching the back of your collar or the top of your eyebrows, cut to mid-ear, not too long or crazy on top, and is neat and well groomed! Make sure your polo shirts fit and your shorts are the proper length. If you are not in compliance with our policy, you will not be able to take your yearbook picture.

GIRLS - be sure to check your skirt length and make the appropriate adjustments to the length to avoid having your hem removed in the Dean's Office.  Skirts must go TO THE KNEE!  Here is the Seton Catholic Skirt Instructions Document to remind all the young ladies and their parents how to measure a Seton Catholic skirt that goes to the knee!  Note to New Parents...this document is legendary so be sure to check it out!

Lockers

If a returning sophomore, junior or senior would like to request the use of a student locker for the 2022-2023 academic year, they can do so by completing this Locker Request and Agreement Form or go to the school website under Campus Life/Dean's Office.  The request must come through the student's Seton google email account. Please complete the locker request form before Sunday, July 31st.  Note: Freshman and transfer students will be automatically assigned a locker at no cost for their first year at Seton and do not need to complete a request form.

Lunch Program

Seton offers a hot lunch program for students through our online platform called MealManage. All new freshman and transfer students will be loaded into the platform prior to the July 22nd launch date so there is no need to set up an account.

NEW PARENTS: New Parents will simply need to activate their account if they'd like to use the hot lunch program this year.

RETURNING PARENTS: If you have already set up your account, you are already set to order meals for your student

Lunches will be served Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays)

  • The cut off to place a lunch order will be 4 pm of the prior day
  •  Lunch costs will range from $3.50 TO $8.50 based on the meal offered.  We will once again include favorites like Pizza, Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane, and a variety of sub sandwiches, to mention just a few.
  • Our MealManage platform will have all lunch choices for purchase from the first day of school through September 30th - We will then reload our choices for October through December by September 30th.
  •  All meals must be prepaid - there is no opportunity to purchase onsite at lunchtime.
  •  Parent support for the MealManage site can be found here on the Lunch Program page on our website.

For those families who would like to discuss our subsidized lunch program, please contact Linda Surovick, Director of Finance at 480.963.1900 x2072 or [email protected].

Parking Permits

If a student is planning on driving to school, they will need a student parking permit.  Please complete this Parking Permit Request and Agreement Form, or go to the school website under Campus Life/Dean's Office for the form. The request and agreement form should be completed through the student's Seton email account.  We will be assigning the first round of parking permits via a random number generator on Monday, August 1st.  Parking permits can be purchased throughout the entire school year.

Technology

Laptops – Freshmen and Transfers - if you have not picked up your laptop, please email [email protected] to schedule a time for pickup.

MySeton – If students have not signed up for MySeton, they must do so before their laptop can be picked up. Please go to the My Seton page and follow the directions provided in parents’ email. If you need help with this please email [email protected]

Parents Help Needed

Parents, we need your help!  Please speak with your students now to make sure they are ready to start school on Monday, August 8th.  Do their uniforms fit?  Do they have a belt?   Is their hairstyle in compliance with our policy?  Are they ready to take their yearbook/ID picture? Did they sign up for a locker if they want one?  Did they purchase a parking permit if they will be driving to campus?  The more prepared they are to start school, the better experience they will have at Seton.
