Thanksgiving Expectations

Email from 11/12/2020

Dear Seton Community:

I wish to share with you some resources regarding staying safe during the upcoming holidays. The first is a link to the CDC page on Thanksgiving. The second is a link from the CDC and it provides information regarding travel during the current pandemic.

I want to remind you of the following expectations from our Sentinel Pledge:

While Away from Campus

Avoid any non-essential outings or risky behavior that can put others on campus, others in my household, or myself in danger of contracting COVID-19.

Practice safe and social distancing at all times.

Seek immediate medical attention if I begin to feel COVID-19 symptoms.

Notify the school of any confirmed positive COVID-19 tests.

It is our expectation that students who have plans to attend large Thanksgiving gatherings with people outside of their immediate household or who plan on traveling for Thanksgiving that these students temporarily move to the Online-Only group for the week of November 30th through December 4th. Students can move back to the In-Person group the following week. Please notify Mr. Serna or Dr. Sweeney if you will be moving to the Online Only group.

I will send a follow-up email if there are any changes to this expectation. Please contact Mr. Serna if you have any questions.

As COVID-19 cases increase in our county and state, Seton strives to keep all students and faculty safe and healthy. We are thankful to all for following our mitigation protocols and we wish each family a blessed Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,

Victor Serna

Principal
