Reopening Seton Athletics

Dear Seton Catholic Preparatory Students and Parents,

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support as we navigate through the Coronavirus pandemic together. It is our goal to keep everyone safe while on campus and I thank you for your patience while we organize our return to school life.

We have completed our plan to reopen athletics this week and you can view it by visiting https://tinyurl.com/SCPathletics20. All updates will be reflected on this document so please refer here for any questions. The Diocese of Phoenix will announce when schools are free to move into Phase 2 and there is no timetable at this time. Individual head coaches will announce the start of their programs so please continue to be patient.

Here are some key things to remember for returning to campus for athletics:

  1. Anyone experiencing symptoms of the Coronavirus must stay home and seek medical attention.
  2. Participants must provide their own water.
  3. Participants must remain physically distant from others and refrain from socializing while on campus (parking lot, lobby, etc…).
  4. Masks or cloth face coverings must be worn while not engaged in physical activity or exercise.

I thank you ahead of time for your support and cooperation. Our plan to reopen classes in August is almost complete and we hope to begin sharing those details next week.

Please continue praying for everyone affected by this terrible pandemic and for the health and safety of our community.
