Girls Golf Staff

Toni - CoachToni was born and raised in San Diego, CA and graduated from the University of San Diego with a Liberal Arts degree, a K-8 teaching certificate and a minor in leadership. She was an avid athlete growing up mainly playing soccer, baseball, softball and off-road racing. Toni still enjoys the spirit of competition, never turning down a game night, a round of cornhole or a pickleball match. She has been coaching at Seton Catholic since 2016 and is excited to continue to be the head coach for the girls golf team and also an assistant coach for girls flag football in the fall and both the boys and girls soccer programs in the winter. Toni loves working and volunteering in the Seton community. The athletes show tremendous determination and heart, the staff is completely committed to each student and the families are really supportive. Her most consistent coaching conversation with athletes is reminding them to be present and enjoy what they are doing in that moment. It is impossible to be in two places at once, so focus on where you are and who you’re with. Go all in with 100 percent of what you have to give that day, not only for your coach and for your team, but also for yourself. Toni is grateful to her husband, Shane and her children James ‘17, Audrey ‘20 and Brianna ‘23 for their continued support of her coaching duties since it often ends up being a lot of late night dinners and a few missed events. Go Sentinels!
