Connecting to the WiFi

Select the "StudentBYOD" WiFi network
Enter password "studentbyod"
Sign in using gmail and password
If sign-in prompt does not pop up go to: https://portal.setonchs.org/

Print from anywhere! Print anytime! Pick up in the Library!

Steps to Print

From your print menu, select Library_HPLaserJet
Printed items can be found on the printer or in the basket next to the printer in the Library

Canvas for Students

Canvas is a learning management system designed for teachers and students. It is the primary system students will use to access assignment descriptions, due dates, and grade feedback. Students will have access to courses on the first day and until the last day of a term. Canvas is the official grade book of record during the year, but final grades are posted in PowerSchool.

What Can You Do in Canvas?

View Classes

You get access to each class on the first day and will keep it until the last day of class.

Contact Information

Within each class see your teacher's contact information and office hours.

Class Information

Within each class you can see the syllabus, class locations, and book.

Class Activity

View assignments, get links, review feedback.

PowerSchool for Students

PowerSchool is a student information system for conveying report card information, schedules, graduation progress, GPA, and honor roll calculation. Both students and parents have access to the same material.

What Can You Do in PowerSchool?

Student Information

This will display your name, locker information, initial login information, access ID and access password.

Grade History

This will allow you to check your attendance and historical grades for previous semesters. Click the year tab to view the historical grades. If you need to print a report card, click the printer button in the top right of this screen.

Attendance

This will show current term attendance information for the entire current semester.

Cumulative Information

This will show unweighted GPA percent, weighted percent, honor roll calculation.

School Bulletin

This has current announcements for our school.

Class Registration

This will be active only during the enrollment period for the new school year. You will have the ability to select their schedules. Parents will have the ability to review the schedule.

My Schedule

This will show your current schedule with class times. You also have the option to view the matrix view of courses for both terms.

School Information

This will show the school's address, phone, fax and map.

Graduation Progress

This page will show the bar chart displaying your progress toward graduation. It will show the student's graduation plan highlighted in dark green and the earned credits in each subject group. It will show in light green credits students are currently earning. If a bar is checkmarked, it means the student has earned full credit for that subject group in their plan.

Discipline Log

This page will show any disciplinary logs.

Help Desk

This page will display our IT Information, including contact, hours, and important links.

Canvas LMS

This is a link to the Canvas portal.

SchoolMessenger

This displays important announcements that have been created through PowerSchool. This is a view-only page.

Anonymous Email Hotline

This page allows you or your parents to anonymously report concerns such as safety issues, bullying issues, or general concerns. Please be as detailed as possible when making this report.
