Come Shadow a Seton Catholic Sentinel!

Students in grades 8th-11th who are interested in finding out more about Seton Catholic Prep are invited to attend one of our Shadow Day events. Visiting students will attend several classes, a club fair, and have lunch. Shadowing a Sentinel Ambassador provides prospective students the opportunity to experience the campus and culture.

This school year, we will host four Shadow Day events. Space is limited for each day. Each student is only allowed to attend a Shadow Day once. We can not accommodate student guests outside these dates.

FAQ
What if my student can not attend one of these days?
  • If your student is unable to attend the above dates, there are still many ways to discover Seton. We invite you to visit our Open House or Virtual Shadow Day pages to experience a day in the life of a student and hear from teachers on what their class has to offer.
 
What time do we drop off and pick our student?
  • Students will need to be dropped off between 8:10 am and 8:30 am. Please do not drop off earlier. 
  • Pick up will be at 12:45 pm.You will receive an email a few days prior with more information.
 
Is lunch provided for the students and what do they need to bring?
  • Yes, lunch is provided. Students may bring a water bottle with them. If your student has any food allergies, we suggest they bring their own lunch. Note: Microwaves are not available.
 
Is there a charge for the Shadow Day?
  • No, there is no charge for this day.
 
Can they attend more than one Shadow Day?
  • No, students can only attend a Shadow Day once.
 
DRESS CODE POLICY:
  • Students are to come in their school uniform. If their school does not have a uniform then they must abide by our dress code policy (provided below). We ask your student to dress appropriately for their Shadow Day. No ripped jeans or midriff shirts please.
 
BOYS:
  • Not allowed: Shorts or pants that are frayed, sagging, or have holes.
  • Shorts must be to the knee.
  • T-shirts or collared shirts are preferred (clothing promoting alcohol, drugs, and is offensive in any way, is unacceptable). Tank tops, spaghetti straps, ripped, or frayed shirts are not allowed.
  • Tennis shoes or shoes with backings are preferred.
 
GIRLS:
  • Not allowed: tight jeggings, skirts, dresses, yoga pants, leggings, jeans with holes/rips or shorts. Tank tops, spaghetti straps, ripped, or frayed shirts.
  • T-shirts or collared shirts are preferred (clothing promoting alcohol, drugs, and is offensive in any way, is unacceptable).
  • Tennis shoes or shoes with backings are preferred.
