The AIA has voted to reinstate the winter sports season starting on January 19th with new modifications. Please read the AIA’s press release for additional information.
Seton’s administration has decided to continue moving forward with winter sports by resuming practices on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 for all of our programs and by following our previously stated mitigation strategies, including the wearing of masks through the duration of practices & games as required by the AIA.
The school will follow the Maricopa County health guidelines regarding large-group events and not allow fans at games or competitions to start the season. We will continue to revisit this decision throughout the season. We will live stream all games through our NFHS Network platform.
While we are excited our student-athletes will have the opportunity to compete, we will continue to stress vigilance for everyone involved in following all COVID-19 mitigation procedures so they can complete their season. With the community's help, we will be able to give our student-athletes a safe place to compete and grow as Sentinels.
