The English Honors Assessment is for incoming freshmen who wish to be considered for Honors Introduction to Literature. Students will be asked to read and then respond to literature in essay form. Note: taking this assessment is not a guarantee of honors placement. Written responses, along with HSPT scores and the essay completed during the HSPT, will be considered.

*If your letter of admission said you qualified for Honors English, you are NOT required to attend the English assessment, you are automatically added to this class. You may choose to accept or decline the offer.
