Meet Mr. Gutierrez

Mr. Tony Gutiérrez joined the Seton Catholic community this summer, where he taught World History.  In the fall he will begin teaching publications, graphic design, film production and world history. He also serves as the adviser for the Sentinel Yearbook and for SCTV, and as graphic designer for the Sentinel Shield magazine. Prior to joining Seton Catholic, Mr. Gutiérrez was a full-time substitute teacher at Notre Dame Catholic Preparatory in Scottsdale, and he had also served as editor of The Catholic Sun, the official news outlet for the Diocese of Phoenix, and as associate editor of the North Texas Catholic, the official news outlet for the Diocese of Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Gutiérrez attended the University of North Texas in Denton Texas, where he earned bachelor's degrees in journalism and history, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in journalism. His primary vocation is that of husband and father to his four children. In his spare time, Mr. Gutiérrez is an avid reader and writer.
