As we build a culture of Catholic stewardship, Seton Catholic Preparatory High School invites you to support our mission and vision through a variety of giving programs that play a critical role in the success of our students, and ultimately the future possibilities for our school. The funds generated through the generosity of our benefactors keep quality Catholic education at Seton Catholic Prep accessible and affordable.

Our giving opportunities include:

  • Annual Giving – The annual Fund for Seton Catholic supports the school's current year operating expenses including teacher salaries and benefits, library acquisitions, teaching tools, educational technology and equipment, and more. Within the annual giving appeal, you can become a member of the Sustaining Seton Society, a monthly giving club where you have the opportunity to make automatic, monthly gifts which may better fit within your budget needs.
  • Capital Campaign Giving – Capital gifts help to meet building needs that the school cannot pay for out of the tuition funds. A gift to our Capital Campaign pays for building projects included in our Master Plan for a new campus approved in July 2009.
  • Gifts In Kind – Gifts in kind are needed goods and services rather than a direct financial gift. Gifts in kind include items like computers, musical instruments, books, printing services, and more. Please note you will need to consult your tax expert regarding the value and deductibility of your gift.
  • Employer Matching Gifts – You may have the opportunity to increase the value of your gift if your employer has a matching gift program. As an employee benefit, many corporations match their employees' charitable contributions. Please see your HR department for more information!
  • Scholarship Funds – The Seton Catholic Preparatory High School General Endowment, housed at the Catholic Community Foundation, accepts gifts that support our school and provide tuition assistance in perpetuity. In addition to accepting gifts for the General Endowment Fund, gifts can be directed to our three tuition scholarship funds: The Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill Scholarship Fund, the Michael Eubanks Scholarship Fund and the Donna Olsen Scholarship Fund.
  • Memorial & Tribute Gifts – Any gift given to Seton Catholic Prep can be given in memory of a deceased love one or to honor a special person in your life. Simply include your memorial or tribute request along with your gift. Special Memorial Masses and tribute opportunities are offered throughout the year.
  • Planned Giving – There are a variety of methods you can use to include Seton Catholic Prep in your estate plans. Many of these methods may also be a benefit to you and your loved ones in terms of providing and reducing estate taxes. Types of planned gifts include naming Seton Catholic Prep in your will, as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan.
  • Volunteer – Seton Catholic Prep welcomes gifts of time in support of the many activities involved in living out our mission. Contact our Advancement staff to learn about volunteer opportunities.
